Charles T. Avery

Charles T. Avery, age 87, of Grove City, Ohio, went to Heaven on Friday, December 29, 2017. A native of Hilliard, Ohio, Charlie graduated from Hilliard High School, Class of 1948. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Charlie was a bank manager with National City Bank for 43 years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife June Avery, sons Mike Strider and Kelly Avery, brother Donald Avery and sisters Margaret Hickman and Verna Haas. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kerry and Daniel Turner of Hilliard, his granddaughters Cory Turner and Kaila Turner, both of Grove City, great-granddaughter Savannah Turner and great-granddaughter to be, expected in March, 2018. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews, his many friends and his canine companions Dozer, Milo and Sophie. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. THURSDAY, JANUARY 4, 2018.
