A Tribute to a Life Well-Lived

Charles Ronald Hill, age 81, passed away on April 12th , 2025 at his home in Hilliard, Ohio after a long battle with health issues. Born on April 30, 1943, in Leon West Virginia. Charles was known for his loving nature and the joy of being around people.

Charles was a hard-working man his whole life and was dedicated to his family. He was always excited about his many trips to his first home in West Virginia where he had many family members who were always waiting to see him. He was an active member at Hilliard Church of Christ where he had many great relationships with his church family.

Charles survived by his loving wife Linda Hill; they were married 60 years. His daughter’s Virgina Criner, Tina (Bruce) Svoboda, and Patricia (Bill) Ogdin.

His Grandchildren Kendra (Chris) Gibbs, Michael (Katie) Wright, Christopher, Johnathan, Jessica Ogdin, and Rebecca, Shawn (Svoboda).

Great Grandchildren Destiny, Ariana, Gabrial, Caylee, Bentley, Layla (Gibbs), and Adaleigh, Lillith (Wright).

Many In-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends he was close with.

He was preceded in death by his mother Flora Hill, his grandparents Ward and Mary Hill, brothers Gary Hill and Jack Hill along with uncles, aunts, cousins and in-laws.

Family will receive friends 2pm-4pm Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a celebration of life service will follow at 4pm.
