Charles Long

Charles Long, age 72, of Dublin, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 16, 2015. Charles retired from the U.S. Post Office as a mail carrier, Air Force Veteran. He was a devoted member of the Hilliard Church of Christ and ministered at the Laurel’s Nursing Home in Hilliard. Graduate of Circleville Bible College, with an Associate’s Degree. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Tom; and grandson Nicholas Purnell. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Barb; daughter, Linda Purnell; granddaughter, Amannda Purnell; great grandsons, Caleb and Cameron; brothers, Ben and Bob Long; sisters, Sue Slimm and Betty Ann Long; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 6-8pm Tuesday, October 20th 2015, at Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd, Hilliard, OH, where funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday, October 21, 2015.
