Charles Jefferson Patton

Charles Jefferson Patton, age 80, of Galloway, Ohio died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Doctors West Hospital after a lengthy illness. He retired from General Motors after 38+ years as a bender operator. Member of UAW Local #969 and a WWII Navy Veteran. Born June 14, 1927 in Grahn, Kentucky to the late Marion F. Patton and Malissa S. (Carroll) Patton. Survived by sister Bernice (Holt), children David Patton of Worthington, OH, Susan (Patton) Maxwell of Baltimore, OH, Thomas (Pam) Patton of Columbus, OH and Joseph Patton of Columbus, OH, 6 grandchildren and step grandchildren, JD, Stacey, Mathew, Nathan, Rachel, and Will, 5 great grandchildren Joseph, Crystal, Lauren, Ryan and Alyssa. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, sisters Sylvia (Bright), Mary (White), son Charles Wayne Patton and grandson Michael Jeffrey Maxwell. Friends may call 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where funeral service will be held 10 am Friday.
