Charlotte A. Ennen

Charlotte A. Ennen, age 88, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Rugby, ND, she graduated from Rugby High School, Class of 1946 and attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN where she met the love of her life Louie Ennen. They were married in 1948. Together they raised their family in Fargo, ND, Minneapolis, Lansing, MI and Columbus, OH. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Louie Ennen; her sons: Bruce (Kelly) of Newark, OH, David (Linda) of Des Moines, IA and Gregory (Diane) of Margate, FL; her 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sister Annetta Lohn of Minot, ND and her family; brothers: Charles (Bonnie) Orvik of Phoenix, AZ and family and Gary Orvik of St. Paul, MN and family. Charlotte was an active and faithful member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church where she volunteered in many circles and guilds and was also a Parish Visitor. Charlotte and Louie were also very active in the Lutheran Social Services’ food pantry. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am. this FRIDAY, MAY 20, 2016 at UPPER ARLINGTON LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2300 Lytham Road, Columbus, OH 43220 (614)-451-3736 where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00am. with Pastor Jeff Morlock, officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make a memorial contribution in Charlotte’s memory to Upper Arlington Lutheran Church or a charity of their choice.
