Cheryl Alkire

Cheryl Lynn Alkire, Born September 26, 1944 (65 years old) passed from this life on Christmas Day. She leaves behind a loving partner of 25 years, Leslie Phillips, a faithful family of friends, and her six “4 legged” kids. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Cheryl was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin “Pete” and E. Marguerite (Leach) Alkire of London, Ohio. She graduated from London High School and attended Bowling Green and Columbus State Universities. Among her many jobs in her adult life, she loved her extensive work at Honeywell in Hilliard where she worked until her death. She loved life, her friends, athletics, toiling in her gardens, traveling, whale watches, and sunrises. From all of your family, we wish you well on your journey … until we meet again. We would like to thank everyone from the 8 South James Cancer Center and the Kobacker House for their unending support, care, and attention. What a wonderful and caring group of professionals! Friends may celebrate Cheryl’s life 1 pm Saturday at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
