Cheryl L. (Crager) Foster

d. March 2, 2019

Cheryl L. (Crager) Foster, age 62 of Galloway Ohio went running to the arms of God unexpectedly on the 2nd of March after experiencing a long painful life the past eight weeks. She was the consummate Godly wife, mother, Grandmother, friend and more importantly the soulmate to her husband Kenneth. She was known worldwide through her affiliation to her husband’s military career. She truly was the kind of wife that a Soldier needed. She mingled with Generals and enlisted. Rank was never an issue nor was any other professional titled person. She judged people by their actions.  More importantly she was the family spiritual pillar just like her mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She shed enough tears to fill an ocean for her husband, family members, and strangers. She prayed many times till she felt the heavy presence of God in her home. The presence of God was continuously in our home because of her. She was a Virtuous woman in all aspects. She never judged and was compassionate with all. She was truly an example of Christ in words, action, and thought. Cheri’s footprint on life is insurmountable and uncountable and will be missed by many. Her soulmate and husband of 37 years was Kenneth E Foster Jr. She was the mother to two precious children Mark and our precious jewel Crystal who will be a constant reminder of the beauty that Cheri birthed into this world. She is proceeded in death by her mother Ruth Crager, Father Don Crager, twin sister Charlotte Crager and brother-in-law Bruce Cregor Russell. She is survived by daughter Crystal, Son Mark Foster and Stephanie our daughter in law, Sister Debbie (Crager) Russell, Keith and Kathy Crager, Jeff and Debbie Crager, Brad and Tammy Crager. She also leaves behind her four precious grandchildren Jayden, Bella, Cara and Ava with whom she would move heaven and earth for them. She lived to be a mother and grandmother and all other function or roles she performed were icing on the cake. Cheri will be grievously missed by countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends worldwide as she touched many through her smile and humor. Family will receive friends Monday the 11th of March at the Potters House Church of God at 3220 Lowell Dr, Columbus Ohio 43204 from 5 o’clock to 8 o’clock. The funeral service will take place at the same location on Tuesday the 12th at 11 o’clock. Pastor Tim Oldfield will be officiating the service with internment at Sunset Cemetery.
