Chris Kamer

Chris Eugene Kamer, age 47, took his ultimate golf trip to Heaven on October 30, 2015. Chris leaves his loving wife, Bethany (Betsy) Staton Kamer and two beautiful and adoring daughters, Madison Christine Kamer and Mikayla Elizabeth Kamer, as well as his devoted brother, Jeffrey (Darcy) Kamer and his mother Sandra (Stuart Benson) Smith. Chris is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jennifer and Edward Wilford, sisters-in-law, Annalicia (Annie) Staton, Amanda (Mandy) Staton, special friends, Mike and Dawn Miller, his uncle Nick (Bonnie) Smith, his aunt, Diana (Ken) Cline of Dallas, TX, and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Chris will be fondly remembered by numerous friends from over the years as well as supportive friends from his neighborhood and his place of work. Chris graduated in 1986 from Hilliard High School and was a Manager of Net Information System at State Auto Insurance and was a former associate with Franklin Computer Services and Sarcom. Chris had a passion for golf and was a member of the Heritage Golf Club in Hilliard. He has won several trophies over the years from Heritage and from Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin. Chris was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. His "man cave" reflects his love for the Bucks. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the Heritage Golf Club, 3525 Heritage Club Dr. Hilliard, OH, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a celebration of life at 7 p.m. Arrangements are being planned by the Tidd Family Funeral Home in Hilliard, OH. Although flowers are greatly appreciated, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for the educational fund for Madison and Mikayla.
