Christian A. Ramirez-Velazquez

Christian A. Ramirez Velazquez, 29, of Columbus, passed away on December 28, 2021, at his residence. He was born August 02, 1992, in Guanajuato, MX to Maribel Ramirez Velazquez with his Naturalization of U.S. Citizenship received January, 2020.  

In addition to his grandfather, Jose G. Ramirez Quintana; Christian was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis & Rita Bertke; aunt, Linda Stone; uncles, Eugene, and Kevin Bertke. 

Christian is survived by his mother, Maribel Ramirez Velazquez; Stepfather, John Bertke; sister and brothers: Montserrat Bertke Ramirez, Gustavo Ramirez Velazquez, Jon Bertke Ramirez all of Hilliard; grandmother, Graciela Velazquez Vazquez, Warsaw, IN; aunts and uncles: Fernando Ramirez, Warsaw, IN; Carlos Ramirez, Guanajuato, MX; Jessica Ramirez, Warsaw, IN;  Ronald Bertke, St. Marys, OH; Diane (Myron) Gaier, Fort Loramie, OH; Roxane (Brian) Lynch, Columbus, OH; Roseanne (Terry) Hartzog, Lima, OH; Bernice (Cletus) Bulcher, Fort Loramie, OH; Sandra Rector, Columbus, OH; Carl (Andrea) Bertke, Amherst, OH; Dan (Renee) Bertke, Canton, OH; and numerous cousins.

Christian was a 2011 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School. He was employed 10 years by FedEx Ground. He enjoyed Reading, Music, Movies, Video Gaming, traveling when visiting with friends and family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00p.m. THURSDAY, JANUARY 6, 2022 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 with The Reverend Dwayne McNew, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, OH.  The family will receive friends before the Mass from 10:00a.m. until the Mass at 12:00p.m. at the Tidd Family Funeral Home.  If you choose, Memorial Contributions may be made to family.
