Christine Winslow

Hilliard Ohio – Christine Mary Winslow, 71, passed away gracefully at home on Wednesday, February 8, 2024. She was at peace with her son, daughter, and surviving siblings by her side. Chris was born on March 3, 1952, in Queens, New York. 

She was a proud and dedicated mother of two and later became a grandmother of five grandchildren who were the light of her life. When not spending time with her family, Chris enjoyed her many friends who cherished her friendship and the memories they made together. Chris was a strong, independent woman who lived a vibrant life with elegance and humor. In addition to her beloved family and friends, Chris had a passion and joy in life for traveling, exploring, gardening, and cooking. She will always be remembered as a caring, loving, and brilliant woman with a keen, sharp wit. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her two children, Mark Dean Winslow (Erin) of Akron and Heather Jean Rawlins (Brian) of Hilliard, her grandchildren, Max, Ella, Jane, Connor, and Owen, her brothers Donald and Glenn, and her sister Marie.

Chris was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather, Marie and Bill Schneider, her mother and father, George and Jean Schneider, her brother, Carl Schneider, and her second parents and friends, Mary and Dean Winslow.

A memorial will be held at Tidd Funeral Home, located at 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard on Monday, February 12, 2024. Services will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm, including a closing prayer beginning at 6:45 pm. Chris’ final resting place will be in her hometown of Queens, New York.
