Clara B. Dean, 88 of Mt. Sterling and a resident of Country Glenn in Washington Court House, died September 23, 2009 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born Oct. 19, 1920 in Athens County, Ohio; daughter of the late Frank and Bearl (Lonas) Daines.
Preceded in death by husband, Ollie F. Dean.
Survived by sons, Damon Dean of Mt. Sterling, Stewart (Betty) Detty of Washington C.H.; daughters, Brenda K. (James) McKirgan of Savannah, GA., Cheryl (William) Adams of Mt. Sterling; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Betty Weekly of Columbus; brother, Russell Daines of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
A Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service. A graveside service and burial of her cremains will follow in the Waterloo Cemetery at 2:00.
