Clara Rose Nicholson

Clara Rose (Myers) Nicholson, 97 years,Born October 3,1918. died August 9, 2016 Columbus, Ohio and joins her husband of 46 years Forrest Nicholson. Clara Rose was one of six daughters born to George W. Myers and Crystal May ( Lannerd )Myers of Hagerstown Indiana. Clara Rose graduated from Hagerstown Indiana High School in 1936 and after graduation she moved to Indianapolis Indiana where she lived for 70 years. Clara Rose is preceded in death by her husband Forrest and four sisters, Emma Perry, Mildred Beall, Alice Stinson and Edith Holcomb. She leaves behind her older sister Mary Holcomb, 100 years, from Hagerstown Indiana, who now lives in Centerville Indiana; her son Howard and wife Sally Nicholson of Columbus, Ohio; her daughter Charlotte Nicholson Nottingham from West Lafayette Indiana. Four Grandchildren include Daniel and wife Debbie Nicholson from Anderson Indiana, Daryle and wife Tracy Nicholson Marysville Ohio, Douglas and wife Theresa Nicholson Grove City Ohio, Wendy and husband John Lumpkin Plain City Ohio. She also has six great grandsons and one great granddaughter -- also many nieces and nephews. Clara Rose will be placed along side her husband Forrest at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. No services will be held.
