Claude Vasu

Claude F. Vasu II, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Youngstown, OH to the late Claude and Evelyn Vasu. Claude is an Eagle Scout, and proudly served in the Ohio National Guard. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, creating art, hitting golf balls at the range, and attending music concerts. Preceded in death by special feline family member, Flip. Survived by wife of 32 years, Paula; sons, Brock and Bryant; sisters, Sandra (Steve Eaton) Vasu-Sarver and Catherine (Gene) Cunningham; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Rio Rita Taylor; sister-in-law, Tamra (Jim) Ashworth; brother-in-law, Brent Taylor; niece, Jaime Ashworth; nephews, Erik and Ryan Vasu-Sarver; numerous family members and dear friends. A casual celebration of life will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. The family requests that no flowers be sent and all who attend wear casual attire.
