Clyde Jackson

Clyde F. Jackson, age 92, of Hilliard, passed away April 8, 2013. Member of First United Brethren Church, US Navy Veteran of WWII and retired from Suburban Motor Freight with 30 years of service. He was also a member of V.F.W and Moose Lodge. Preceded in death by wife Polly, stepson William, son John, brother Benjamin and sister Verna Mae Texair. Survived by longtime companion Betty Radcliff and her children Nancy (Frank) Deering, Victor (Linda) DiNardo, Geno (Rita) DiNardo, Paula Kidwell, April (Trent) Willis and many loving extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Clyde’s nurses Amy, Brian and Nancy at Franklin Woods for their compassionate and loving care and Mt. Carmel Hospice. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Friday with Rev. Owen Stotts officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
