Clyde Roland Kreager passed away, age 91, at his home at Friendship Village, Dublin OH on Saturday, August 14, 2010. Clyde, born April 15, 1919, in Licking County OH, was the son of the late Ruth (Courson) and Frank Kreager. He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years Ruth (Deeds) Kreager and daughter Marla as well as his brother, Ernest, and sister, Stella Giles.
Clyde was in the Army from 1941-45, serving as a radar technician in Panama. He was a graduate of Tri-State College (now University) and after moving to the Columbus area worked with the Accuray Company until his retirement in 1982.
He is survived by his daughter Charissa Kreager of Fairport, NY, son Roland Kreager (wife Cynthia Goslee) of Richmond, IN, nephews Charles Williams (Johnstown, OH), and Frank Kreager (Venice, FL), nieces, Janice Rafter (Pataskala, OH), Margaret Ford (Columbus, OH), Anna Dotson (Newark, OH), and Evelyn Butt (Granville, OH), along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Clyde was a faithful, 55-year member of Hilliard United Methodist Church and the Hilliard Kiwanis Club. Family will receive friends Monday from 5-7pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where services will be held Tuesday, August 17 at 10 a.m. with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, OH.
