Connie Lewis

Connie Sue Lewis, age 56, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by father, Carl W. Speakman; mother and father –in-law, Escelene and Robert Lewis. Survived by loving husband of 38 years, Lester; son, James Lewis of Powell, OH; daughter, Amy (Stephen) Saltsman of London, OH; granddaughters, Elena and Claire; mother, Margaret Speakman of Derby, OH; sisters, Cheryl Hulvey of Charlotte Hall, MD and Carla (Keith) Snyder of Bidwell, OH; brother, Steve Speakman of FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends. Connie had a zest for life. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Family will receive friends Friday from 5-8pm at THE PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 331 W. Main St. Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am with Rev. Dortha Ross officiating. Interment Pleasant Cemetery.
