Connie Salts, CRS, CRB, LTG, ABR, PMN, E-PRO, age 66, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. Survived by loving husband of 42 years Dean, parents Ralph and Kathryn Knick, brother Tom (Sharon) Knick and nephew Scott Knick. She was a Registered Nurse and 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Civic Activities; she was in the process of setting up a support group for spouses and care givers of critically ill patients (there are support groups for the patients but not the actual caregivers), setting up a charitable grant to a female doctor to do research in woman’s health at The Ohio State University, Northwest Historical Society, Mid-Ohio Regional Activity Committee, American Legion Memorial Post #614, Moose Lodge Auxiliary #2236, Hilliard Area Republican Club, Hilliard Chamber of Commerce-Director for many years, Presidential Elect, Secretary and Treasurer, Real Estate License since 1989, formed corporation & company (S.A.L.T. Realty Co.) in 1990, Broker License since 1994, broker for 15 years, Corporate Officer of Executive Business Planning, Corporate Office of R&D Tax Service, Ohio Association Relator of the year 2010 and CBR Broker of the Year 2010, CORPAC Sterling “R” Contributions. She was also a member of BIA and the Sales and Marketing Council since 1994, received local BIA sales awards 1994-2006, Ohio Association of Realtors since 1990, National Association of Realtors since 1990, Women’s Council of Realtors since 1992, President of Women’s Council in 199, WCR member of the year 2002, Independent Brokers Association since 1994, A founding member of the IBA and served as Vice President and Membership Chair, President of Independent Brokers Association 2008, Member of national Home Builders Association and received sales award 1994-2004. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Monday with visitation one hour prior to the time of service. Interment Alton Cemetery.
