Corrine "Corky" Gardner

Corrine A. “Corky” Gardner, age 85, passed away at home on Friday, January 29, 2021. Corky was a member of the Hilliard Church of Christ and Shattalon Church of Christ in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She worked in the restaurant industry for many years as well as a nanny. Corky was preceded in death by her parents George and Bertha Crist, son Mark Gardner and daughter Cheryl Whiting. She is survived by her loving children Linda (Russell) Perry, Richard (Connie) Whiting and Dan (Julie) Gardner, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a huge Ohio State football fan and deeply loved her family and her Lord. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00a.m. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2021 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 11:00a.m. THURSDAY with Tim McClelland, officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.  At the request of the family, Social Distancing will be observed and facial coverings are required while at the Funeral Home.
