Corwin Belt

Corwin (Corky) Belt, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2010 at Kobacker House after a brain tumor. Born August 31, 1950. Preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Glendal Belt. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 16 years Patti, daughter Stephanie (Todd) Forney, son Greg (Leyla) Kessler, daughter Tina (Otis) Pace, grandchildren Taylor and Brooklyn Forney, Kyle, Lindsay, Carson and Carter Pace, sister Joyce (Ted Hopple) McCabe, brother Dick Belt, nephews Bryan (Caren) Belt and David (Beth) McCabe, niece Kathleen (Bradley Keith) McCabe of Chicago and sisters-in-law Jane and Kim Poole of N. Ft. Myers, FL. Corky was a 1968 graduate of North High School and a 1973 graduate of The Ohio State University. He retired as a Captain in the Ohio National Guard Units, 684 Medical Company, 112th Medical Brigade and also recently retired from a career as an accountant. He was a Mason with the University Lodge #631 and was an avid hunter and skeet shooter. Family will receive friends 4-8 pm Tuesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday with pastor Frank Luchsinger officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or Kobacker House.
