Courtney Ann Saunders, aged 40, passed away on August 26, 2023, after a prolonged illness. Courtney and her husband, Robert Lind have two daughters, Mason (Macy) and Molly Lind, aged 10 and 9 respectively. The most important thing in Courtney’s life was her two daughters. Courtney's foremost priority was to spend time with Macy and Molly, engaging in activities like visiting parks, pools, COSI, the zoo, and various other special places. Despite occasional limitations due to her health, Courtney maximized her involvement in activities with her daughters, particularly enjoying arts and crafts sessions. Courtney displayed her artistic talent from an early age. When she was in grade school, her work was displayed at a diocesan art show at the Josephinum. She played many sports and was an excellent ballerina.
Apart from her dedication to motherhood, Courtney had a passion for nursing. Following her education at Grove City High School, she received a Registered Nursing degree from Fortis College. Her patients deeply appreciated her caring nature, as she worked at several local hospitals, including OSU Select Specialty Hospital, Mount Carmel East Hospital, and Grant Medical Center.
Those acquainted with Courtney were well aware of her strong affection for dogs, as well as her passions for Cedar Point (especially Millennium Force), the Dave Matthews Band, and experimenting with her hair color.
Courtney was born on October 9, 1982, and attended OLPH School and Church in Grove City. Tragically, her mother passed away when Courtney was almost 13. Courtney and her sister and brother were very close to their mother and miss her greatly to this day. She is survived by her father, Jack Saunders; her sister, Jennifer Mulryan (Sean) and their children Ian, Keeley, and Gavin; and her brother, Brent Saunders (Jill) and their son Colt.
