Daniel J. Miles, Sr.

Daniel J. Miles, Sr., age 75, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed Friday, July 14, 2023 at Kobacker House after a sudden illness.  Dan retired from Anheuser Busch in 2009 and will most fondly be remembered for his sense of humor and love of volleyball and Buckeye football. Dan was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy (McCreary) Miles, sister Betty Bates and brother-in-law Bob Bates.  Dan is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of 29 years, Terry McGinnis-Miles, children Joe (Jeannie) Miles, Jennifer (Tori) Myers, Mindy (Phil) Dimas, Michael (Becky) Fontanarosa, and Dan (Michelle) Miles, Jr., grandchildren Jeremy (Brittany), Shyanne, Elena, Andrea, Joshua (Jessica), Zachery (Sydney), Sarah, Isabella, and Brianna, as well as great-grandchildren Jaydin, Brayden, and Hailey, niece Vickie Johns and her family and the many other loving members of the McGinnis family including nieces Shelby and Sydney and mother-in-law Anita McGinnis.

Family will receive friends from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. MONDAY, JULY 24, 2023 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Memorial Service will follow the visitation and begin at 7:00p.m. MONDAY.  Graveside burial services will be held 11:00a.m. TUESDAY, JULY 25, 2023 at WESLEY CHAPEL CEMETERY, 3225 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026. 

Dan was gifted extra time with family and friends as a result of an Angel kidney donation.  The family respectfully requests that you consider becoming an organ, eye or tissue donor.
