Daniel Mike (Cavinee) Parrett 53, left this earth to be with the Lord on June 6, 2011.
Dan is survived by his wife of 30 yrs, Vicki and their sons Jonathan and Nathan; also survived by mother Margot DeLong Parrett; mother-in-law Mary Baughn; sisters Vickie Carpenter, Marie Matic, Camile Parrett and Gerri Cavinee; brothers Harlan Parrett, Mark & Kevin Cavinee.
Dan is preceded in death by infant son David; father Jerry Cavinee; step-father Jack Parrett; father-in-law Ed Baughn; and brother Ron Parrett.
Dan served in the US Navy. He was an avid fisherman and boat enthusiast. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday 6:30 p.m. at the Southwest Community Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Steven Suttles officiating.
The family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Mt. Sterling.
