Danny Fitzpatrick

Danny Fitzpatrick, age 57, of Hilliard, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012. He was born and raised in Louisa, KY. He retired from Pacer International in Dublin and was active with the Hilliard Baseball Association where he coached his sons for many years. He was very active in all aspects of his sons’ lives. He and the family spent much time traveling the U.S. as the boys played in the traveling soccer league. Danny was an avid sports fan, especially the Buckeyes, Bengals, and the Reds. He also enjoyed fishing. Above all, Danny was a kind, loving family man who never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Bonnie; sons, Ryan, Ben, and Connor Fitzpatrick; mother, Betty Fitzpatrick; brothers, Mike (Sandy) May, Rocky (Peggy) Fitzpatrick, and Homer Fitzpatrick; sisters, Sue Ellen (Butch) Spires and Lou (Johnny) Kouns; sisters and brothers in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, loving family and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 PM at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 Noon Tuesday at ST. BRENDAN THE NAVIGATOR CATHOLIC CHURCH 4475 Dublin Rd. Hilliard, OH 43026 with Father John Johnson officiating. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Fitzpatrick Fund at any Huntington Bank. This fund was created to help Danny’s family with living medical expenses.
