Darrel Delong

Darrel Delong, age 64, of Columbus, formerly of Plain City, passed away April 16, 2013. Longtime member of Hilliard Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder and Deacon. Retired from Dana Corporation. A 1966 graduate of Madison South High School. Preceded in death by parents, second mom, brother, sister, nieces, and nephews. Survived by loving wife of 40 years, Peg, brother Gary (Faye) Delong, sister Rita Delong, numerous nieces, nephews, special friends Peppi, Mickey, Mindi, Mackie, Amber, Frostie, Scottie and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday at Hilliard Presbyterian Church, 3600 Leap Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Rev. Rob Jackson officiating. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the address listed above or the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, OH 43026.
