David Buhrts

David Michael Buhrts, age 48, of Hilliard, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2015. Attended Franklin Heights High School Class of 1985 and formerly employed with King Concrete, Hills Floral and Initial Impressions. David loved the New York Jets, Ohio State Buckeyes, Las Vegas, casinos, instant scratch offs and spending time at his family reunions and he especially loved Christmas. Preceded in death by father Joseph Thomas Buhrts, grandparents Charles and Mildred Vickory and Robert and Georgia Bolin. Survived by the love of his life of 23 years, his wife Erin, his children Brittany and Jacob, mother Donna, mother-in-law Melanie Elfrink, father-in-law Glenn (Sonja Lyons) Elfrink, siblings Joseph Jr. (Teresa), Robert (Brenda) and Aimee (Chris) Hanson, brother-in-law Chris Greiner, sister-in-law Gwen (Tiffany) Elfrink, along with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also special little buddy Astro. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-6:30pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH; where a celebration of life and sharing of memories service will follow at 6:30 pm.
