Dennis Lee Young, age 57, of Columbus, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009. Veteran of Ohio National Guard. Grove City High School Class of 1969 and The Ohio State University Class of 1973; where he was a member of TBDBITL. Dennis was a huge buckeye fan! Current Master of Avery Masonic Lodge #493, Past Master of Westgate Masonic Lodge # 623, Past District Deputy Grand Master of the 14TH Masonic District , Member of the Red Cross of Constantine, Honorary Member of The Supreme Council AASR, 33RD Degree Mason, Westgate Chapter, Westgate Council, Mt Vernon Commandery, and Andrew J. White Council # 245 A.M.D. Preceded in death by father Denver. Survived by mother Phyllis of Grove City, children Jennifer (John) Robinson of Hilliard, Jim Young of Colorado and Bekah (Jordan) Smith of Hilliard and their mother Polly Young of Columbus, sister Diane (Ed) Schirtzinger, 5 grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 nephew and numerous Masonic friends. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday with Rev. Michael Poole officiating. A Masonic service will be held 7:30 pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Avery Lodge F&AM #493, 3980 Main St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
