Diane Reed

Diane (Allen) Reed returned to her heavenly family on Sunday, Nov 28^th, 2021 surrounded in love by her children. She was 66 years old. Born Carla Diane Allen on October 26^th, 1955, Diane was a loving wife, mother of four, and grandmother of six. A lifelong homemaker, Diane’s passion was her family and caring for young children.

A woman of faith, Diane was brought comfort during difficult times by the words of Jesus found in Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”

Diane was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Elsa Mae (Lease) Allen, husband James Reed, son Eric Reed and brothers Steve and David Allen. She is survived by her children Jennifer (Phil) Hill, Elizabeth Reed, and Nathaniel (Kim) Reed, brothers Robert (Tammy) Allen and Chris (Samara) Allen. Diane was proud to be the grandmother to Isabella, Charlotte, Ezekiel, TJ, Amelia, and Oliver. Diane would often be greeted by her grandchildren with an enthusiastic “Nana!” when entering a room.

Due to a family illness, memorial services will be delayed until a date to-be scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, a financial contribution to the family to cover final expenses is welcomed.
