Don Smals

Don P. Smals, Sr., age 72, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009. Operating Manager for several trucking companies. Preceded in death by mother and father Edna Louise and Seral Smals, step-brother Bob Hoffman and step-son Gary Todd. Survived by loving wife Elizabeth A. Smals, sons Don P. (Suzette) Smals, Jr. and Bryan (Amy) Smals, step-children, David (Shelly) Todd, Lisa Todd (Jeff) Kearns, and Sandy Todd (Ronald) Williams, sisters Betty Smals Brown and Shirley Smals Sorenson, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 1-3 pm and 6-8:30 pm Tuesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a Celebration of Life service will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery with Matthew Cox officiating.
