Donald Christianson

Donald Morgan Christianson, of Hilliard, Ohio, died peacefully on July 2, 2015. He preceded in death by his parents Morgan and Hannah Christianson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn; his sister, Marla Holle of Okemos, MI; his son, Sven (Rebecca) and children, Simon, Anders and Naomi. In addition, his son, Thor (Dijana) and children, Nikola and Natalia; and daughter, Sonja (Ken) and children, Dominic and Arianna. Don was a graduate of North High and Capital University. Don was passionate about music and books and had a vibrant quest of knowledge. He was a member of the Columbus Boys' Choir, Capital City Lodge 0656, Mensa, Intertel and a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church. A Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Hilliard United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 2-3 p.m. at the church and after the service during a brief reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilliard United Methodist Church or the Ohio Health Hospice and Kobacker House at 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
