Donald Eugene Hamilton

Donald Eugene Hamilton, age 90, of Hilliard, passed away on February 18, 2023. He was born on June 5, 1932, in Columbus, to the late Dewey and Frances (Francisco) Hamilton.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Hamilton and Max and Mike Gill.

He is survived by his children, Debby (Gordon) Glander, Cliff (Tina) Hamilton, Joe (Kristine) Hamilton and their mother, Mary Lou Hamilton; grandchildren, Christopher (Arielle Goldstein) Hamilton and Alan Hamilton; Jeans family, and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Don was a member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church. He retired after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force Veteran and retired from Coca-Cola USA with 20 years of service. He was also a member of the American Legion and Moose Club. ‘Disco Don’ taught line dancing in Columbus for over 20 years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026, from 4-6 p.m., where a service with Military Honors will begin at 6 p.m. Private family inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
