Donald Lomax

Donald Lomax, age 84, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018.  US Army Veteran. He was an avid golfer but didn’t like sand traps, when he wasn’t golfing he enjoyed bowling and playing cards with his friends and family. Donald was very active in the Dublin Lions Club, former President of the Swan Manufacturing Company, and Chairman Emeritus of the M.B.I. (Myrtle Beach Invitational). Preceded in death by wife Jeanne Lomax, parents Clarence and Naomi Lomax and brother Dave Lomax. Survived by sons Mark Lomax and Steve Lomax, sister Ruth (Don) Miller, sister-in-law Pam Lomax, grandchildren Samantha, Andrew, Kristyn and Alec Lomax, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the nearest head golf professional or First Tee for those in need of golf lessons.
