Donald Eugene Mauk

Donald E. Mauk, age 76, of Hilliard, passed away Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Columbus Alzheimer’s Care Center. He was a member of the Logan High School class of 1950 and also attended Ohio University. He was employed by A&P for over 28 years and retired from Honda. A Korean War veteran, he was a member of several Masonic lodges and an active member of the Hilliard Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Award. Preceded in death by parents, McKinley and Pansey Mauk. Survived by loving wife of 29 years, Jan; sons, Donald E. (Ruth) Mauk II of Marysville and Edward (Brenda) Phillips of Dewey Beach, DE; sisters, Barbara (Roy) Mosure of Zanesville and Mary Ann Hartsock of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Daniel Mauk, Nathan Phillips and Sydney Phillips. Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard 43026, where a funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday. Graveside service 2:30 PM Monday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Alzheimer’s Care Center 700 Jason Way Columbus OH 43214.
