Donald Middendorf

Donald Frederic Middendorf, age 69, of Dublin, formerly of Hilliard, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Graduated from St. Xavier High School Cincinnati, OH in 1966, Xavier University in 1970 and The Ohio State University Medical School in 1974. Donald served his internship and residency at The University of Kansas, Kansas City, KS. He worked in his private practice from 1980-1984 in Portsmouth, OH and then moving to The Ohio State University as an Associate Professor from 1984-1998 and again private practice in Chillicothe, OH from 1998 until retiring. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Virginia Middendorf and sister Peggy Middendorf. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Kathy, children Rodney (Amy Ita) Middendorf and Matt (Cindy) Middendorf, brothers Bill (Sharon) Middendorf and Fred (John Keegan) Middendorf, granddaughter Elyse, and numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Monday 6-8 pm at THE TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
