Donald Millar

Donald L Millar age 74 of Thornville (Buckeye Lake), Ohio formerly of West Jefferson, Ohio passed away Sunday morning September 25, 2011 in Dublin, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. Born July 23rd, 1937, he was preceded in death by parents Verna Humphreys and Lynn Dewitt Millar, sister Mary, nephew Pat Decker and niece Veronica Sheets.
Survived by his loving wife, Melody and his 5 children, daughters Monica (Mark) Hall, Karen (Mike) Studebaker, sons Tim, Jim (Debi), Don (Kathy). Grandchildren Brie (Billy) Sellers, Courtney Williams, Amy (Pat) Dugan, Jimmy, Jared, Dylan Millar, Kenzi Millar Studebaker and great grandson Gabriel Sellers. Also survived by brother Jerry (Charlotte) and nephews Mike and Mark Millar, Paula, Joe, Tony Decker and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was employed with White Westinghouse for 26 years and Adept Products in West Jefferson and he also did construction work including building his beloved lake home. Don was a member of Sons of Amvets Post 51.
Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend to so many. He is gone from our sight, but never our memories. Gone from our touch, but never our hearts.
Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday September 27th at 4:00-7:00 PM at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard OH. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday September 28th at Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church at 11:AM, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson Ohio, with internment at Union Cemetery immediately following the service.
