Donald A. Novak

Donald Andrew Novak, age 65, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Uniontown, PA on February 25, 1953 to the late Madyline and Steve Novak, Don was a graduate of West Virginia University. He had a successful 30-year career in Consumer Sales followed by five years at the Diocese of Columbus. Don’s Catholic faith was very important to him. He was a founding member of St. Brigid of Kildare Church in Dublin. He faithfully served his parish as an usher and Eucharistic Minister and other volunteer activities. Don enjoyed spending several winters in Florida and learned to play golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Anne, brother Stephen (Linda) Novak of Uniontown, PA, sister-in-law Sue (Kevin) Frydryk of Naperville, IL, nephew Todd (Ashley) Novak of Wilmington, OH, nieces Nicole (Jeremy) Shaulis of Uniontown, PA, Abby (David) Goldsmith of Boston, MA, Kate Frydryk of Chicago, IL, great-nephew Grant Shaulis, and by his faithful, loving Golden Retriever, Tressie. BRIGID OF KILDARE CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 where family will receive friends before the Mass from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. FRIDAY. Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, OH. The family has requested the omission of flowers.
