Donald E. Webb, age 77; of Columbus, died peacefully surrounded by his family on August 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1932 in Fayette County,Ohio.
He served in the US Air Force; member of American Legion – Don Gentile Post #532 and Moose Lodge #11, both of Columbus.
Preceded in death by parents, Chuck and Dorothy Webb, brothers, Jim and Freddie, sister, Carolyn (Red).
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Betty J. Webb (McNamer); daughter, Beverly (Doug) East; sons, Donald Mark (Ruth) Webb, Jeffrey Webb, Pete (Sandi) Webb; grandchildren, Angie (Shawn), Jami, Stephanie, Anthony, Justin, Cameron, Jenny, Chanse, Ryan, Ashley; great grandchildren,Dru, Caleigh, Treh, Jaehlynn, Taehler, Teahuana. Also survived by brothers, Charles (Margaret), and Ivan; sisters, Jeannie (Gene), Sue (Doug), and Karen; sisters-in-law, Katie and Gayle Ann.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Pastor Susan Havens officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 2 – 8 p.m.
A special thanks to Dr. Stephen Koch and Dr. Bruce Auerbach. In lieu of flowers family suggest memorial contributions may be given to Mount Carmel Hospice (envelopes provided).
