Donald Willis

Donald Willis, age 85, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Member of Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church for many years; where he was a Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent, church trustee, assistant treasurer and custodian. He worked at Midland –Ross for many years and was founder of Boy Scout Troop 206. Preceded in death by father Jacob and mother Lillie Willis, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by loving wife Mary Lou Willis, children Alan (Ruth) Willis, Edith (Lynn) Pickerill, Bruce (Darlene) Willis and James (Eileen) Willis, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Friday 4-7 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday at Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church, 6729 Hayden Run Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026 with Pastor Bill Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hayden Run Baptist Church youth group. Interment Alton Cemetery.
