Donna Crawford

Donna Belle Crawford, age 95 of Mt. Sterling died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in Country Glenn of Washington C.H. She was born Nov. 30, 1917 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Donna Belle was a lifetime resident of Mt. Sterling; member of the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene where she was a Sunday School teacher and active in Bible School programs riding the bus with the kids; served on Madison County Board of Elections for 40 years; was Mt. Sterling Citizen of the Year & Senior Queen for town activities; caregiver and babysitter for many people and played bunko for many years.
Preceded in death by husband, Elvin Delois (Pat) Crawford; parents Harley and Nellie Tracey; sisters Elizabeth Butcher, Dorothy Steele, Martha Leach, and Idelle Satterfield.
Surviving are children, Mevelyn (Charles) Neff and Danny (Sierra) Crawford, both of Mt. Sterling, Michael (Sue) Crawford of Galloway; grandchildren, Kirk (Sue) Neff, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Carrie (Nick) Betz, Mt. Sterling, Eric (Laura) Crawford, Chillicothe, Andy (Karen) Crawford, Athens, Romey (Ashley) Crawford, London, Kevin (Kim) Crawford, Ashville, Angela (Paul) Fischer, Galloway, Melissa (Dale) Kilgore, Grove City; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2013 where family will receive friends from 4 – 7 pm at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18th at 10:00 am with Rev. Karen Crawford and Rev. Dortha Ross officiating. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions be given to Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N. Market St., Mt. Sterling, OH. 43143.
