Dorothea Rhoades

Dorothea, A. “Dotty” Rhoades, passed away, Monday, February 4, 2008 at her residence. Born February 16, 1920, in Conneaut, OH. She was the daughter of Henry R. and Fay Huberich. Dotty worked for the Department of Defense at DCSC-DSAC, Columbus, OH, retiring from there in 1982. She was a member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church, Hilliard Happiness Club, and life member of Northwest Franklin County Historical Society. Preceded in death by husband Charles R. Rhoads, parents, uncle William “Bill” Dimick, grandmother Viola Dimick, and brother Paul Huberich. Survived by niece, Mary Lou Huberich of Ft. Myers, FL, cousin Viola Day of Toledo, OH, nephews of husband, John T. and David Rogers of Columbus, OH, Robert Rogers of Chillicothe, OH, Charles Hartwig, of Blue River, WI and many special friends. Family will receive friends 10-11 am Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH; where funeral service will follow at 11 am Friday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
