Dorothy Hardy

Dorothy Hardy, age 98 passed away at Blanton House in Grove City on May 7, 2015. She was born to the late Samuel and Ellen Moore on January 24, 1917 in Ashland, KY. Dorothy was very dedicated to her family and will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John K. Hardy; children Charles Hardy, Barbara Blanton, Kenneth Hardy, Gary Hardy, Saundra Hardy, and Johnny Hardy. Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert (Jo Ann) Hardy, William (Patty) Hardy, Linda (Bill) Charles, Janet Colman, Judy (John) Young, James (Tony) Hardy, Merle (Linda) Hardy, and David Hardy. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at TIDD FUENRAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11am. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Alton Cemetery, beside her husband. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Blanton House for all their care and support, especially Cindy and Nick Blanton.
