Dorothy Hoover

Dorothy J. Hoover, age 94, passed away on December 14, 2018 at the home of her daughter, Brenda Hartman in Columbus, OH. Dorothy was born on June 21, 1924 in Dayton, OH to the late Joseph and Fleeta (McLean) Mast. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Quinter of 72 years, son Douglas L. Hoover and son-in-law Raymond Hartman. She is survived by daughter Brenda Hartman, daughter-in-law Debbie Hoover, grandchildren Dawn Hartman, David Hartman and Theresa (Josh) Wagner, great grandchildren Joey Hartman, Addi Wagner and Coltyn Wagner. She served as secretary of Fairmont Presbyterian Church for 28 years and was a volunteer at Kettering Medical Center for 6728 hours. Family will receive friends Thursday 10-11 am at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344; where funeral service will follow at 11 am with Rev. Linda Farley-Meyer officiating. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 333 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43699.
