Dorothy Karch

Dorothy Prantl-Milless-Karch, age 84, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012. Retired from TransAmerica. While Dorothy was not a member of any “formal” organizations, she participated in many activities with family and friends. She was active in a mother-daughter group with daughter Marce and friends Linda, Betty, Marshall, Rocky, Suzette, Francis, Sheri and Judy. She played cards with son Rich and cousins Martha and Gary. She had an additional card club with family Pat, Alice, Paul, Marlene and Rose Marie. Frequent Las Vegas outings included Pat, Alice, Toni and Gary. She was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Katherine Prantl, second husband George H. Karch and her children’s father Richard Milless, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by children Marcella Allton, Richard W. (Cindy) Milless, Patrick (Alice) Milless and Toni (Gary) Gartner, stepsons William, Robert (Connie) and Timothy Karch, sister-in-law Peg Prantl, grandchildren Todd (Carrie) Allton, Jessie (Matt) Haines, Keith Milless, Amy Kelley, Abby (Mike) Randall, Andrea (Colton) Riebesell, Casey Gartner, Robbie (Kristen) Gartner, Patti Jo (Xander) Arena and Andy Gartner, step grandchildren Bobby, Sharon and Leslie, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous loving relatives and special friend Jean Rickard. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at the Kobacker House for their love and care for their mom. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Kobacker House in her name. Family will receive friends Saturday 10-11 am at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026, where a Celebration of Life service will follow at 11 am.
