Dorothy Rodriguez

Dorothy M. Rodriguez (Flanagan), age 61, lovingly called Nina, passed from this life to rest in her heavenly home.

Dorothy was married to Luis A. Rodriguez, lovingly called Luie, for 35 years until his passing in 2020. Their beautiful marriage, friendship, and love story is like no other.

Dorothy was born in Arlington, VA., daughter of Felix Flanagan and Betty (Flanagan) Brobeck. She was a loving granddaughter of the late Sarah Irene Dudley (Nana).

She was an amazing, caring, proud and loving mother to her daughter Nikki M. Rodriguez Perry, wife of Richard (Ricky) Perry, and her son Christopher Luis Rodriguez. She was a very proud, cherished and adored her grandchildren who lovingly called her Nina: Allyssa Marie Sanders, Erika Ann Sanders, Jessica Marlen Perry, Savannah Renee Perry, Avery Luis Perry and Ava Grace Perry. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Emma Renee Perry.

She is also survived by her brother Jeff M. Dudley and predeceased by her brother John D. Dudley.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother-in-law Julia Rodriguez, her brother-in-law Francisco Rodriguez Jr. and wife Marta Jorge, her sister-in-law Miriam Rodriguez young and husband Michael J. Young, her sister-in-law Pastor Carmen R. Cruz and husband Pastor Ernesto Cruz; nephews and nieces, family and friends.

Dorothy was employed by the State of Ohio department of Health for over 20 Years. Her interests include cooking, shopping, and soap operas, Dorothy loved her family first and foremost, and her beloved children and grandchildren were the heart of her life. Dorothy will be dearly missed. Her kindness loving spirit, devotion, and strength will admirably live on.

Family will reciereceiveve friends Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 12 pm- 1 pm at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 1 pm.
