Dorothy Stewart

Dorothy Ellen Stewart, age 92, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, November 09, 2009. She was of Christian faith. Retired x-ray technician, employed with Mansfield General Hospital, Mansfield, OH and Lehigh Memorial Hospital in Lehigh Acres, FL and member of D.A.R. Dorothy was a wonderful and beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who will be missed by all those lives she touched. Preceded in death by husbands Hayward Burkhart and Malcolm Stewart, sisters Louise Wilson and Sue Anderson, brother Richard DeBord, half sister JoyLee Ensley, and son in law Bob Ross. Survived by children Carolyn (Frank) Knapp, Richard Burkhart, D. Janet Ross and Linda (Randy) Burkhart-Smith, brothers Jim (Irene) DeBord and Gary (Irma) DeBord, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 4-6 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 6 pm Thursday. Cremation to follow.
