Dortha Bowman

Dortha Mae Bowman, 95 of Dublin, Ohio went to be with Jesus, July 11, 2014. Born April 21, 1919 in Amilin, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George & Iona Vanschoyck Horch. She was a 1937 graduate of Hillard High School. After graduating, she was employed by Nationwide Insurance Company in downtown Columbus, Ohio. She married Tom Bowman in 1948 and she helped him on their farm. Some of the things she enjoyed in life were traveling, walking in nature, a great shopper, and she was a Cincinnati Red Legs fan all her life. Besides her parents, Dortha Mae was preceded in death by her husband Tom Bowman who died in 1980. She is survived by cousins, a niece and a dear friend Carol Raush; plus many friends at FSV-Dublin. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd. in Hilliard. Arrangements by the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hilliard, OH.
