Dwight Irwin Wooley, age 78, born October 24, 1930, passed away early morning Friday, August 7, 2009 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by parents Clarence J. and Edith (Atha) Wooley, brother Thurman Wooley, sisters Vera Beck and Roberta Wharton. Survived by beloved wife Elberta (Call) Wooley celebrated their 50th anniversary on
July 11, 2009, sons Thomas Jay Wooley and Timothy Call Wooley, daughter Lisa Anne Wooley and daughter-in law Mary Wooley and numerous nieces and nephews. He retired in 1999 from the U.S Postal Service with 36 years of service. Served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict and member of Riverside United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
