Earl Edward Maxson, age 82, of Saint Johns, FL, formerly of Hilliard, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. He was born November 18, 1934 in Columbus, OH Charles E. and Mildred A. (Hauck) Maxson. He is a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1954. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and former owner of Maxson Insurance Agency. Member of Avery Masonic Lodge #493, the Scottish Rite, and the Aladdin Shrine, as well as the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2070. Preceded in death by parents; and son, Rodney Dale Maxson. Survived by wife of 47 years, Donna M. Maxson; son Douglas Dean (Gretchen) Maxson; grandchildren, Christopher and Tracey; several great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Adams; brothers, Charles and Mahlon; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E.
