Earl Smith, Jr., age 89, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 3009. U.S. Coast Guard WWII Veteran. Graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Engineering and received his MBA from Central Michigan. Retired from General Motors and Franklin County Auditor. Survived by loving wife of 68 years Dora A. Smith, daughter Sharyn (Mick) Smith Skelton , grandchildren Michael K. Skelton, Jr. and Jennifer S. (Kurt) Bendeck, great grandson Andrew K. Bendeck, nieces and nephews Sally (Tony) Cascioli and Rebecca M. (Phil) Rowe and her siblings. Family requests prayers in lieu of flowers. Entombment 11:30 Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery Mausoleum for family and Earl's close friends.
