Edna Patterson

Edna J. Patterson, age 95, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. Born and raised in Logan, Ohio. Preceded in death by the love of her life Charles, who passed away in 1999 and was a pharmacist. She is also preceded in death by brothers William, Willard, Don, and sisters Annabelle and Fontella. She had many jobs, including working for the state when Rhodes was Governor. Edna wanted to be a flight attendant but her mother did not want her gone so much; she was very close to her mom. She and Charles never had children but they did have a pet monkey named Cookie. Edna loved to sing; especially gospel music. Funeral service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, OH 43213 at 11 am Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
