Edward Birko

Edward J. Birko, age 84, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church and choir member, U.S Air Force Veteran. Member of Woodworkers of Central Ohio and The Termites. Edward worked for North American Aviation and retired from Hitachi Instruments. Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Anna Birko, sister Ann and brother Thomas. Survived by loving wife Ann of 58 years, children Mari (Michael) Brunner, Janeen (David III) Highman and Leann Birko, grandchildren Jami Brunner, Natalee Highman and David Highman IV, brother-in-law Charles Cypher, sisters-in-law Florence Dixon and Kathleen Kelly, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 am Monday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Private family inurnment at a later date, Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
